We also accept cash. If you are paying entirely with cash, you are entitled to a “Good Faith Estimate.”
Understanding Your Rights: Good Faith Estimates for Uninsured Patients As part of the No Surprises Act, which took effect on January 1, 2022, patients without insurance or those not using their insurance have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected healthcare costs. This estimate helps you understand potential expenses before receiving medical services. Key points to remember:
You can request a Good Faith Estimate when scheduling an appointment or at any time before receiving care.
For services scheduled at least 3 business days in advance, we'll provide the estimate within 1 business day
The estimate includes expected charges for the primary service and related items or services
While we strive for accuracy, the final bill may differ due to unforeseen circumstances or additional services
If your bill exceeds the estimate by $400 or more, you may be eligible to dispute it
We're committed to transparency in healthcare costs. If you have any questions about Good Faith Estimates or your rights under the No Surprises Act, please don't hesitate to contact our billing office. Remember to keep your Good Faith Estimate for future reference.
It's an important tool to help you make informed decisions about your healthcare.
